Terms & Conditions

By using these services, you accept and agree to the following terms & conditions as listed below.

Bookings and Services 
 

  • Bookings will be confirmed once an enquiry form has been submitted and payment recieved.

  • Services will take place at the client's property or in a mutually agreed location. 

  • I, the trainer, have the right to refuse services to any dog that could be considered dangerous or if training would cause undue stress to the dog. This is at the sole discretion of the trainer and termination of service can occur at any point if I deem the situation unsafe. 

Trainer Responsibilities 

  • Postitive reinforcement techniques will be used during my services in accordance to the APDT standards. Forceful or non-ethical training methods won't be tolerated in my sessions. 

  • Training success is reliant on clients applying and practicing the techniques outside of training sessions. All efforts will be made to be successful in each dogs training, however, success cannot be guarenteed due to individual dogs training issues and past.

  • Compling with the necessary insurance requirements. 

  • Sessions may need to be cancelled or carried out online due to extreme circumstances out of my control, e.g., extreme weather, government mandated social isolation. 

Client Responsibilities 

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and worm/flea treatment before participating in a training session. It is the owners responsibility to seek medical advice from their Veternarian 

  • It is the clients responsibility to keep yourself, others in your party and your dog safe. 

  • Dogs are to be kept on lead during sessions unless specifically told differently by the trainer. Dogs must also be kept under control during the session, failure to do so may lead to cessation of the session.

  • Clients must ensure they are completely honest in their answers on the enquiry form and must be completed before the start date of the training session. If any of the responses change between completing the form and the session start date you must make the trainer aware. ​

  • Your dog must not be subject to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, is not subject to a court order and is lawfully in your care.

  • The client is responsible for all vet bills, no matter how they are incurred. 

  • The client is responsible for providing suitable equipment for the dog. Any aversive equipment, including but not limited to choke chains, slip leads, prong collars, electric collars and corrector sprays, will not be tolerated. If the client refuses to use more suitable equipment there session will be ended without refund. 

  • Aversive methods or punishments will not be tolerated and if these actions are repeated after being asked to stop the session will be terminated and no refund given. 

  • If dogs have a known bite history they should not be present in group sessions without a properly fitted muzzle and only if their current behaviour has been assessed by the trainer. Failure to muzzle a dog when asked will lead to removal from the session with no refund given.
